Alexandra (Alex) Strawbridge
Ballet and Modern Instructor
Alex began dancing at the age of three. After experimenting with ballet, tap and jazz throughout her childhood, she pursued a deeper study of ballet with Shelagh Dubsky at Ashtabula Arts Center all the way through middle school and high school, performing annually in Ballet Theatre Ashtabula’s production of The Nutcracker.
After graduating, Alex earned a minor in dance at Lake Erie College. During college she continued to study ballet, expand her choreography skills, as well as learn and develop a love for modern dance. She was also a member of the Lake Erie College Dance Team in its inaugural season. In addition, Alex joined Cleveland Dance Project for a season to participate in their showcase performance.
Alex is thrilled to be part of the staff at Inspired Movement to continue her own dance career and share her passion with the younger generation of dancers!
Ryan Rosinski
Hip-Hop Instructor
Ryan is a professional dancer that is known all around the USA area. With more than 16 years of dance experience and more than 12 years teaching experience. Ryan has grown not only as a dancer, but also as a choreographer, teacher, and performer. You might have seen him on the show “So You Think You Can Dance” or perhaps one of his live performances as he has performed all around America. He also has performed at some of the most popular theaters in the Ohio area such as The Agora, Goodyear Theater, and Playhouse Square. You can see some of his work on YouTube where his professional dance page has close to 2 million views and/or perhaps you seen some of his work from his various television appearances such as being seen on PBS, Fox, and many news stations for his continues dance work! Ryan has worked with many artist/companies and is always looking to continue to grow his dance career in a positive and unique way.
Gabriela (Gabi) Peters
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary Instructor - Studio Coordinator
Gabi began dancing at four years old at Spirit of Dance. She was trained primarily in ballet, tap, acrobatics, and jazz, and has experience in pom, hip-hop, lyrical, and modern. She continued to dance through her senior year of high school where she was also part of the competition dance team at her high school, and she competed jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and pom across Ohio.
After high school, Gabi obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts in Early Childhood Education and her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance at Lake Erie College. While at LEC, she performed as a member of the dance team. She has previously taught ballet, contemporary, and hip hop.
Isabella (Bella) Golen
Jazz, Contemporary, Modern and Ballet Instructor
Isabella Golen is an accomplished dancer and instructor with 18 years of dance experience and four years of teaching experience. Trained in contemporary, jazz, kick, musical theater, hip hop, and pom, she refined her skills at Lake Erie College and through numerous industry intensives and workshops. She has trained from several notable instructors at Millennium Dance Complex, Mathers Dance Studio, Playground Dance, Elevated Dance Headquarters, and Cleveland Dance Project. Isabella is a skillful instructor, sharing her passion for dance at several local studios where she teaches students of all ages, styles, and levels!
Sarah Tilson
Ballet Instructor
Sarah began studying ballet at the age of 14 with Suzanne Rosati at Ballet Arts Academy in Hambden. Along with many years of classical ballet training Sarah was encouraged to pursue many forms of dance including jazz, modern, contemporary, flamenco, ballroom and musical theater studies.
In 2008 after many years of outstanding dance opportunities and experiences Sarah returned to Ballet Arts Academy to teach. Sarah also began performing in local theatre productions, choreographing musicals and teaching ballet, jazz and ballroom at Rabbit Run Community Arts Association, Geauga Lyric Theater Guild, and Fine Arts Association. After her second child was born Sarah took a hiatus from teaching to enjoy her son and daughter’s baby and toddler years.
Dance is a wonderful form of art, expression and fitness. Moving our bodies is such a gift. Sarah is grateful for the opportunity to join IMDS and hopes to encourage her students to embrace the gift of movement in each class
Nadia Wheeler
Creative Movement Instructor - Substitute
Nadia has been working in childcare and education since 2012. During that time she has taken child development continuing education classes, as well as working hands on with students. She assists in running the Thompson Square Community Theater and helps train young people in acting, expressive body movements and other forms of storytelling. Nadia learned ballet under Lydia Detrow for several years and loves being able to teach young dancers ballet steps, how to express themselves through dance, and to just have fun!
Rachel Wolfe
Substitute Instructor
Rachel started dancing when she was 2 years old and continued all through her senior year of high school in 2020. During her years of dance, Rachel participated in several different classes and styles of dance including, tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary/modern and belly dance. Rachel was also a member of the competition dance team for 10 years and would compete tap, jazz, and lyrical at competitions around Ohio. Rachel loves being a part of Inspired Movement and sharing her life-long love of dance with her students!
